2020 TALK SIGN DAY – KZN Blind and Deaf Society

On 13 March 2020, The KZN Blind and Deaf Society hosted a 2020 Talk Sign Day presentation at Powafix, to create awareness on how each person can do their bit in supporting our Blind and Deaf peers in the community and workplace. The Powafix staff proudly wore their 2020 Talk Sign Day stickers, and showed their support by learning some basic signs.

The KZN Blind and Deaf Society’s mission is to ensure that all Blind, Partially-Sighted, Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Deaf-Blind people are integrated into the community, as members who contribute and benefit from society alongside their able bodied counterparts who do not have these disabilities.
